Lotus Pond
Lotus pond, 1.4 kilometers in length and 400 meters in width, was established in 1705. It was named for its beautiful water with lotuses. However, you will only see lotuses around the west area now. There are 20 something temples around lotus pond. It’s also interesting visiting these temples while walking around this pretty pond.

Hi Iris,
I love lotus. It remind me serenity and keep my mind in peace. That's why I planted lotus in my fish pond at the back yard in California, but it did not grow. I tried it again, yet showed the same result. I will give it a try one more time.
