Wu Bai (& China Blue)
King of live.
Wu Bai and his band, China Blue, is the best rock'n roll band in Taiwan. He sings both in Taiwanese and Chinese. It is said that when he sings live, you will really feel the power of his music.
Wu Bai doesn't like to talk. Quote from him: the best way to know me is via my music.
Members in China Blue: Xio Chu(bass), Big Cat(keyboard), and Dino(drum).
And Wu Bai is the first Chinese-speaking rock'n roll singer who's already had concerts in Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Beijing, and America.
The following song is written in Taiwanese. It also sounds like traditional Taiwanese song.
The following one is named "aircraft warning" in Taiwanese. It's a song about the world war II. However, it's not describing sad stories but through the eyes of commonality who didn't really know what was going on.
The last one, a sad love song, hope you enjoy it.

Hello Iris I listened to the first song. It is different from USA and UK music. But the energy and passion is there!! Looks like the audience enjoyed and had a great time. Thanks for sharing!!!
Hi caplondon. thanks for your lovely comment. Yes you are right it's very differnt from USA and UK music. But if I introduce something like that, then there is nothing special enough to represent Taiwan!! :) Cheers!!
Iris,
I love WU BAI and CHINA BLUE too. They rock. Did you know how WU BAI got his name, 500? and do you know his father in Garlic Village, Swanntoh, is called 1000 as a nickname, YI CHIEN? Yes, it's true.
And Dino the drummer is from LA, did you know that.
hi dan,
Glad you like Wu Bai too!! His name comes from his nickname when he was in elementary school. But I didn't know his father's name is 1000. Thanks for that. As for Dino, yes I know he's from the USA.
Iris
